L’autostrada Roma-Latina, l’ennesimo ecomostro regalato alla nostra provincia
Non bastano le due centrali nucleari (di Borgo Sabotino e del Garigliano), in fase di dismissione con i rischi che questa operazione comporta e senza che vi siano mai stati studi sui danni che il loro funzionamento ha comportato per la nostra salute in passato; le due enormi discariche di Borgo Montello (la prima di proprietà dell’Indeco, la seconda dell’Ecoambiente), con i conseguenti crimini ambientali mai veramente combattuti ma anzi facilitati dall’assenza di controlli; i tanti porticcioli disseminati lungo la costa pontina, molti dei quali l’hanno deturpata definitivamente; i tanti ecomostri di cemento che caratterizzano il nostro territorio, molti dei quali sono solo la punta dell’iceberg di un abusivismo edilizio sempre tollerato e mai combattuto veramente, in quanto portatore di voti. Ebbene ecco che la regione Lazio della coppia Zingaretti-Smeriglio ha deciso di dare il via definitivo al progetto di una nuova autostrada – a pagamento – tra la capitale e il capoluogo pontino, a cui vanno aggiunte le relative bretelle di collegamento. Il mostro di asfalto e cemento – che prevede 186 km di viabilità, tra cui 68,3 per la Roma-Latina, 31,5 Km per la bretella Cisterna-Valmontone e infine 36 Km di corsie laterali gratuite localizzate presso la città di Aprilia – verrà realizzato dal Consorzio italo-spagnolo SIS e costerà 2,8 miliardi di euro.Gli automobilisti dovranno pagare ben 12 euro per percorrerla. Un costo che tra l’altro ci fa temere un altro caso Brebemi, l’autostrada che collega Brescia con Bergamo e Milano, costata oltre 2,2 miliardi di euro, e che si sta trasformando in un flop finanziario di proporzioni gigantesche, in quanto poco utilizzata dagli automobilisti, proprio per gli alti costi di percorrenza, tant’è che la regione Lombardia è dovuta intervenire per evitare il suo fallimento. Noi comunisti invece continuiamo a sostenere la necessità di un alternativa al trasporto su gomma soprattutto se privato, che va ad intasare strade e che quindi significa l’aumento dell’inquinamento atmosferico, con il conseguente aumento delle malattie polmonari, ma soprattutto diciamo no agli interessi economici – che si nascondono dietro tale operazione – e che violentano i territori attraversati da tale mostro di asfalto e cemento. Proprio per questo chiediamo il potenziamento della rete ferroviaria che collega Roma con Latina, così da ridurre le auto e offrire servizi pubblici di qualità, così come d’altronde succede in altri paesi del mondo
Noi invece facciamo un’autostrada così da incentivare l’uso dell’automobile. Insomma una classe politica geniale, non c’è che dire.
