Una devastazione – val la pena ricordare – che è sfociata nell’occupazione nazifascista che nella nostra città ha causato morte e devastazione, anche per mano di un fascista tale Palmieri, sembra scarcerato dalle prigioni di Gaeta, dimostratosi particolarmente crudele con la popolazione formiana, tanto da rendersi protagonista dell’assassinio di Antonio Ricca ed Aurelio Pampena il 17/10/1943, morti sul ciglio di una strada senza alcun processo.
Questo è l’effetto del Fascismo, di cui preme ricordare la caduta – non il tradimento! Il fascismo è caduto a causa della grave crisi economica e sociale e della sconfitta bellica che ha subito, in quanto incapace di fronteggiare l’esercito alleato. Quanti vogliono discutere quel periodo storico non possono prescindere da questo dato storico. Come non si possono dimenticare gli scioperi “del pane” – quando il diritto di sciopero era stato abolito e il rischio era la fucilazione – avvenuti nelle fabbriche nel marzo del 1943. Come non si può dimenticare il contributo – nel nome dell’internazionale – dato dagli italiani nella difesa della Repubblica Spagnola sconfitta dal dittatore appoggiato dai nazifascisti.
Un filo rosso, segnato dal sangue di civili e militari, che volenti o nolenti hanno sacrificato la propria vita per la libertà dell’Italia. Tra questi molti nostri compagni sono morti, primo tra tutti Antonio Gramsci, colui che preconizzo’ l’assemblea costituente, o ancora Gioacchino Gesmundo, professore del Real Liceo ginnasio e dirigente GAP e comunista.
Per il loro nome, ma soprattutto per il nome di anonimi compagni che hanno sacrificato la loro vita per la libertà, il 25 Aprile è da sempre una bella giornata di speranza, la cui sintesi per il mondo e nel canto “Bella Ciao”, per i comunisti nel canto de “l’Internazionale”. La Resistenza, ha visto lottare fianco a fianco uomini e donne, operai ed intellettuali, contadini del nord e del sud in quello che è stato l’embrione della Repubblica Italiana. Allora tutte le conquiste sembravano a portata di mano. Oggi siamo chiamati a difendere i principi fondamentali della dignità dell’uomo che il capitale ed il fascismo vorrebbe negare nel nome di una tecnocrazia che ripropone gli schemi del fascismo.
Oggi infatti la nostra Costituzione, e i principi in essa contenuti, sono messi in pericolo sia dalla globalizzazione e dalla finanziarizzazione dell’economia che ci rendono tutti schiavi di un modello di società sempre più ingiusta e diseguale. Sul punto occorre fare attenzione, sia dalle mafie, che rappresentano il volto più vero del capitale assetato di profitto ad ogni costo e senza regole.
Dunque oggi come allora è giunto il momento di rialzare la testa smettendo le ambiguità di quanti si dichiarano antifascisti a chiacchiere, ma nei fatti favoriscono le logiche vessatorie del capitale e della Camorra; di opporre una nuova e rinnovata “Resistenza” contro le formazioni politiche neofasciste osteggiandone ogni forma di rappresentazione ed elezione ad ogni livello, dal più piccolo comune della Repubblica fino al Parlamento nazionale. Sul punto val la pena ricordare la norma del testo costituzionale che dispone il divieto de “la riorganizzazione, sotto qualsiasi forma, del disciolto partito fascista.“, e le successive leggi che proibiscono l’apologia di fascismo, di concetti, simbologie e riferimenti al ventennio non si contano gli episodi. Formazioni responsabili di atti di violenza contro le minoranze etniche e sessuali, di cui tra le vittime siamo costretti ad annoverare anche la Europarlamentare del PRC Eleonora Forenza, donna e responsabile di aver difeso dei migranti dagli insulti razzisti dei fascisti.
E’ giunta l’ora di dire basta, non fosse altro per non rendere vano il gesto di quanti hanno sacrificato la vita in difesa dei valori di libertà e di democrazia su cui si basa la Costituzione. Oggi come allora i Comunisti non si sottrarranno al loro impegno, incuranti dell’inettitudine di quanti si proclamano a chiacchiere antifascisti ma rimangono alla finestra a guardare che la valanga fascista faccia il suo corso.
