Formia dopo Arbore, una grande discarica a cielo aperto
A tre giorni dal concerto di Arbore il piazzale del molo Vespucci è ancora invaso da rifiuti lasciati dagli spettatori, che evidentemente in assenza di bidoni dove poterli buttare, hanno deciso di lasciarli in regalo alla città.
Si aggiunge a questo il mancato intervento dell’amministrazione, che evidentemente troppo impegnata a glorificare il proprio operato, ha dimenticato di chiedere all’AMA servizi di attivarsi per smaltire nei giorni successivi i rifiuti.
Il risultato, e le foto che alleghiamo lo dimostrano, è che nessuno ha provveduto alla pulizia del piazzale, tant’è che a tutt’oggi è ricoperto da una coltre di rifiuti, alcool e sudiciume di varia natura.
Non che il piazzale abbia mai brillato per pulizia e manutenzione, ma che si sia addirittura potuti arrivare a questo punto è vergognoso, soprattutto se pensiamo alle parole di soddisfazione degli assessori La Mura e Pecorino, per la riuscita dell’evento, tanto da chiedere alla città di abituarsi a manifestazione di tale calibro.
Siamo curiosi inoltre di conoscere l’opinione dell’assessore all’ambiente Aldo Zangrillo, che proprio poche settimana fa aveva dichiarato che “Formia risulta essere una delle città più pulite della provincia di Latina”, ovviamente grazie all’impegno dell’amministrazione di cui è parte.
Non crediamo che l’assessore sia stato tenuto allo scuro che a Formia si stesse organizzando il concerto di Arbore, ma crediamo invece che lo abbia colpevolmente sottovalutato, tanto che la città si trova ad assistere ad uno spettacolo indecoroso.
E’ l’ennesima dimostrazione della sua incapacità di gestire l’assessorato all’ambiente, cosa che ci preoccupa molto, soprattutto se pensiamo a quanto sia importante garantire ai cittadini un servizio di raccolta rifiuti efficiente.
Ovviamente l’avvio del servizio di pulizia straordinaria avrà un costo che crediamo debba essere accollato interamente agli organizzatori dell’evento.
Per i prossimi appuntamenti invitiamo l’amministrazione comunale ad impegnarsi affinché si eviti alla città di Formia l’indegna gazzarra di una città ridotta ormai ad una grande discarica a cielo aperto.
